You can make a Medicine Check on a dead creature, DC: 5 + Level (Or CR) of a creature and if you succeed, the spell Raise Dead is cast on the creature. On a failure, the effort is wasted. Regardless of a success or failure, once the Yggdrasil Leaf has been used, it becomes a normal leaf. Any attempts to cook, brew, break, dry or age the leaf while it still holds magical properties will fail and the only way for a Yggdrasil Leaf to regain its properties is for it be placed onto Yggdrasil for 1 year and a day, requiring majority of the leaf present.
