Weapon (whip), uncommon (requires attunement by a Warlock or an Anomaly, must be grafted*)

This whip is woven from hundreds of feet of leathers made from the flayed skins of humanoid victims. Coagulated blood stains the end of the whip, and where a popper would normally be tied is instead the wicked barbed tip of a bone-devil's tail. The handle was severed in battle, as it was attached to its previous owner's forearm.

This magic weapon grants a +1 bonus on all attack and damage rolls.

*To attune to this weapon, you must graft the wide end to your forearm's flesh in some manner (DM discretion).

The reach of this whip has an extra 5 feet of length more than a normal whip (total 15ft reach).

If attuned to this weapon, you may receive the damage dealt with any successful attack with this weapon as healing, (this includes damage granted by sneak attacks, buffing spells, or a critical hit. The healing is calculated from the actual damage dealt after all resistances).

The blood or life force of the creature struck with this ability visibly flows rapidly up the whip and coats the wielder's hand and forearm in it, before absorbing into their flesh with a blink of red light.

Proficiency with a Whip allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Item 0002 of the 'Lathspell' homebrew world., Warlock or an Anomaly, must be grafted*, Damage, Combat, Finesse, Reach, Slow
