Weapon (glaive), uncommon (requires attunement by a a character with a minimum of 15 charisma.)

This weapon has a blackened oak shaft about 64" (1.5m) long.  The head is 18" (45cm) long and made of a silver alloy.  The spine of the head is shaped like a single talon from a dragon. At the bottom end of the weapon, three dragon claws grasp a crystalline orb that glows dimly in the moonlight.

Once attuned to, this "cursed" weapon of the Shadowfel will make a pact with you, making you a Hexblade Warlock.  You can break out of this contract by succeeding on a Charisma saving throw against a DC of 16.  Succeeding on the saving throw causes you 1d6 necrotic damage and you are blinded for 10 minutes.

Using this weapon you have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.  This is the actual "Dormant" state of this weapon.  It will reveal greater power and effects as it's wielder grows in power (see Thorn, Thorn-Awoken and Thorn-Exalted)

Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, a character with a minimum of 15 charisma., Heavy, Reach, Two-Handed, Graze
