Weapon (javelin), legendary (requires attunement by a Attunes to first owner)

A small bronze cylinder engraved with ancient runes.  At your will the cylinder becomes pure energy.  The energy is thrown as though it were a javelin.  When thrown, a line 5ft wide extends to the sides as the javelin flies toward its target.  All beings within those 5ft must make a DC 10 CON saving thrown.  On a failed save they take 1d4 thunder damage.  On a hit, the target of the throw takes 1d6 piercing+1d6 lightning damage.  One turn after a lightning throw, all creatures within a 30ft radius must make a DC 10 CON saving throw.  On a failed save, they take 1d4 Thunder damage.  This javelin has instant recall.  After being thrown, it will return to you before the beginning of your next turn.

Proficiency with a Javelin allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
