The dragon waits in shadows, his breath will scorch the land.

The hero in the castle draws his sword and makes his stand.

The princess in the tower is hidden far away.

Talisman of the King. This curious symbol, engraved on an unknown metal of unknown worlds, holds a power over the minds of those who see it. The symbol seems to be the source, as looking at the back of the talisman only gives the eerie feelings of discomfort of not knowing what the other side of the talisman looks like. Engraved in the back of the talisman is a poem about a king and his brides, though few understand what it is truly saying. This symbol automatically attunes to the person of the Kings choosing, and takes up 2 attunement  slots. While attuned, and this talisman is worn somewhere on the body (hidden or shown it does not matter), then the talisman acts as a +2 arcane focus.

Possession of the Sign. Once someone views the sign their mind begins to open to the truths of the world, and the viewer must succeed a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or a hard pass if using CoC SAN scores. If successful, the viewer is confused for 1 minute and acts at half speed. If the viewer fails, then their mind fully opens. The effects of this differ for every person, but usually it involves profession a true belief or fallowing to the true King.
