This ordinary cast iron frying pan seems to have been infused with the chaotic energy of the outer planes. Upon completing a meal on it, the universe distorts reality locally and the food is magically transformed.
Whenever you try to cook any food on this seemingly normal frying pan, roll a d100. The food takes the appearance, smell, and feel of a random food item from a list (100 items long). However, upon taking a bite, the insides resemble the original food you cooked, maintaining the original taste and caloric content of the ingredients used to make it.
Canonically, whenever the pan activates everyone around it blinks for a second and the food magically transforms.
Additional effects may apply in the event of a wild magic surge from a sorcerer. If the sorcerer is carrying the pan in their inventory when the surge triggers, the pan will recreate the last cooked meal through means similar to the spell "Create Food and Water".
Proficiency with a Club allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
