Zithre has been crafted from extraplanar wood and metal by elvish shamans so that it can draw on elemental power. It is equipped with an Air crystal.

Zithre is magical, granting a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls. It creates magic bolts, making reloading unnecessary, but it can use standard ammunition. The magic bolts do 1d6 lightning damage.

Zithre has 9 charges and regains 1d4+5 each dawn. As part of an attack, you can expend a charge to deliver a potent shock. On a successful hit, the target loses its reaction until its next turn. In addition, it must succeed on a DC 15 Constition saving throw or be unable to move or take an action on its next turn.

Proficiency with a Hand Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
