A bard that has attuned the three times per long rest can play a dissonant chords drawing power from the weave in the form of a wild surge.

When playing for a willing audience of 12 or more, once per long rest the user can choose 5 members of the audience to attempt to charm.  The targets make a will save at the user's Spell DC at disadvantage.  On a fail they are affected as a Charm Person spell. If any of the targets roll a natural 20 on the save die a Wild Surge will be unleashed and one of the strings on the lute breaks disrupting the performance until the next dawn or Mending is cast on the string.
