This black iron lantern hangs on a crooked staff, itself also made of black iron. The lantern has no wick or oil. Any creature who attunes to it can use an action to plant the staff in the ground, which causes the lantern to ignite, giving off a pale green flame that casts dim light for 20 feet. Lifting the staff out of the ground causes the lantern to extinguish. While the lantern is lit, any creature who is attuned to it can transport themselves instantly (no action required) to an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the lantern, as long as they remain on the same plane of existence as the lantern.
