You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this longbow. On a hit, you deal 1d6 additional poison damage. Above its grip, the the bow is decorated with a silver wyvern's head, a brilliant green emerald inset as its eye.
You can use a bonus action to charge your next arrow with deadly wyvern venom. After doing so, the emerald eye turns black. On a hit, the target takes 8d6 additional poison damage and is poisoned. A successful DC 16 Constitution saving throw reduces the damage to half and prevents the target from being poisoned. A creature poisoned by this arrow can attempt another saving throw at the end of its turn each round to remove the condition. After an hour the gem once again turns green, signalling that the bow can enchant another arrow with venom.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
