If you are a worshiper of Xenagos, you gain all the following benefits for which you have the required piety:

Piety +10 one minor beneficial property

Piety +25 one major beneficial property

Piety +50 one additional major beneficial property

If you aren’t a worshiper of Xenagos, the spear has 2 randomly determined major detrimental properties.

While holding the Lyre, you have resistance to poison damage and are immune to exhaustion.

While carrying the lyre, you can use an action to cast Gift of Gab from the Lyre. Once you use the Lyre to cast this spell, that spell can’t be cast from it again until the next dusk.

While carrying the lyre, you become proficient in the perception skill and gain twice the proficiency bonus.
