Armor (shield), artifact (requires attunement by a Only cass can attune to this shield)

+ 1 shield. While you are attuned to this shield: Your constitution score increases by 3.

 

Each morning roll 8d12, you store these points in the shield until the next dawn. you can use your action to spend these points doing one of these effects:

 

You can spend 20 points to increase the ac of any ally by 1 within a 15 foot radius centered on you for 1 minute. A spectral blue explosion originates from your shield an blast out from you in a 15 foot radius. The energy surrounds any creature who stays inside the radius and it lasts for 1 minute. (You can spend 20 extra points to increase the effect to 2ac)

You can spend 10 points to create a blue transparent barrier originating from your shield. This wall is 5 feet wide and tall. Any creature right behind it or you gains half cover (+2 ac against ranged attacks) and has advantage on dex saves against spell effects that go through the barrier.

 

Whenever you heal another creature you can spend up to as many points as you healed the creature for to heal half of the points spent (so if you heal a creature for 10 hp, you can spend up to 10 points to heal 5 hp).

 

You regain 20 charges when you critical hit with a melee Weapon 

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
