Wondrous Item, rare

Get inspired to conjure all kinds of delicious pies—think lattice-top cherry, rich banana cream and double-crust apple—with this essential magical pan. Made of thick aluminized steel for excellent heat transfer, and imbued with combined powers of generations of culinary artificers, it features a corrugated surface that increases airflow for even conjuring.

Once per day, a creature may use a bonus action to speak the command word to summon a pie to the tin. The creature must roll + their spellcasting modifier against a DC10. If a creature does not have a spellcasting modifier, they take -1 on the roll. On a successful roll, the creature may choose which flavor of pie to summon from the list below. On a failed save, they may roll 1d10 on the list below to determine the flavor randomly. Any pie summoned will immediately rot and lose its magic at dawn if it is not consumed before then.

1. Apple Pie - Consume this pie to heal for 3d4 + 2 damage, healing may be divided in any way among all creatures who share the pie. Consuming the pie uses an action from all creatures receiving healing.

2. Pecan Pie - Consume this pie to heal for 2d8 damage, healing may be divided in any way among all creatures who share the pie. Consuming the pie uses an action from all creatures receiving healing.

3. Pumpkin Pie - Consume this pie to heal for 1d20 damage, healing may be divided in any way among all creatures who share the pie. Consuming the pie uses an action from all creatures receiving healing.

4. Key Lime Pie - A creature may use an action to smear this pie on a door, a box, a chest, a set of manacles, a padlock, or another object that contains a mundane or magical means that prevents access. A mundane lock will release. If the target is sealed by an Arcane Lock spell, the spell is suppressed for 10 minutes. The pie only contains enough magic to unlock one item.

5. Cherry Pie - This pie summons pre-cut into thirds. Use an action to consume one third of the pie and immediately belch out fire at a target within 30 ft of you. The target creature must make a DC13 saving throw taking 4d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

6. Lemon Meringue Pie - Make a ranged attack to throw this pie at another creature. If hit, the creature will immediately take 1d6 acid damage, and be covered in the acidic pie filling. A creature covered in pie filling may use it's action to scrape or wash the filling off itself or another creature. A creature covered in this pie will take 3d4 acid damage at the start of each of its turns.

7. Rhubarb Pie - Use an action to throw this pie at a creature to ensnare it in thorny vines. The target creature must succeed on a DC13 strength saving throw or be restrained by the magical vines until the spell ends. A Large or larger creature has advantage on this saving throw. If the target succeeds on the save, the vines shrivel away. While restrained by this spell, the target takes 1d6 piercing damage at the start of each of its turns. A creature restrained by the vines or one that can touch the creature can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. On a success, the target is freed.

8. Blueberry Pie - Make a ranged attack to throw this pie at a creature within 30 ft. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 bludgeoning damage. The pie then explodes. The target and each creature within 5 feet of it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 cold damage.

9. Shepherd's Pie - Throw this pie at a creature within 30 ft. You speak a one-word command to a creature hit by this pie. The target must succeed on a DC12 Wisdom saving throw or follow the command on its next turn. The spell has no effect if the target is undead, if it doesn't understand your language, or if your command is directly harmful to it.

10. Banana Cream Pie - Use a ranged attack to throw this pie at a creature. If it hits, the target creature takes 2d8 force damage and must succeed on a DC15 dexterity saving throw or fall prone.
