The blade is jet black and fully formed. The runes of Kel'Vas and his followers are engraved in both the blade and the pommel. The runes carved into the blade glow a faint light green and the blade itself emanates a sickly bluish green light. You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Zyfang the Corruptor deals 2d10+2 piercing damage with a 1d12-3 versatility and 3d6 necrotic damage. If attacking humanoids, deal an extra 2d6 necrotic damage.
Curse. This weapon is cursed, and becoming attuned to it extends the curse to you. In addition, you have disadvantage on attack rolls made with weapons other than this one.
On a successful attack, the target must suceed on a DC 14 CON saving throw or take half the necrotic damage again.
When attacking with Zyfang, roll damage before rolling hit. Take half that damage on yourself and then roll hit. If the attack hits heal yourself for the damage you deal.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
