Weapon (dart), artifact (requires attunement by a When attuning, the headpiece embeds itself into the user's head. )

This arrow appears as a very ornate metal arrow with a slightly red tint. Along with it is a roughly 1' by 4" curved metal headpiece that is 1" thick of the same material with intricate engravings.

 Each activation expends 1 charge, and lasts 1 minute. While the user controls the arrow it must move in a continous path and it cannot move in reverse (e.g. re-enter a space it just vacated.)

Each additional attack on the same action gets an additional -2 to the attack roll (-2 on second, -4 on third, -6 on forth, etc.). The arrow cannot take any more attacks on the same action if it misses an attack, though it may continue it's movement outside of others' space.

The user may also spend 2 charge additional charges while in flight to allow 1 creature of size Medium of smaller or 3 additional charges for a creature of size Large to hold onto the arrow and be carried through the air for up to 1 minute. While carrying creature in this way the arrow's speed is reduced by half (from 60 ft to 30 ft). 

 

Proficiency with a Dart allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Damage: Piercing, Bonus: Magic, This item is cursed. It cannot be unattuned, nor can the headpiece be removed until the curse is removed. On removal of the headpiece, the wearer takes 6d10 psychic damage.
