You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. You can use a bonus action to speak this magic staff's command word, causing lightning to crackle down its length, shedding dim light in a 20 foot radius. While the staff is awoken, it deals an extra 1d12 lightning damage to any target it hits. The lightning also has a chance to jump to another target. On a hit, roll percentile dice. If the result is between 51-100, lightning will arc to the closest enemy (must be no farther than 10 feet from original target) and both will take the same damage. This can only happen once per turn. The lightning lasts until you use a bonus action to speak the command word again or until you drop or put away the staff.
Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
