Magical Weapon: Thornblight's ability "Spiteful Thorns" is considered magical.
Spiteful Thorns (4/ Short Rest): As a Bonus Action, after landing a successful attack, you can cause painful thorns to sprout in the victim's wounds. The target must succeed a Constitution Saving Throw (DC 17). If failed, the thorns spread causing the creature to suffer from 3 Piercing Damage each round at the start of the creature's turn. This curse lasts 3 rounds. A "Remove Curse" spell can end its effects. Every hit made with Thornblight on a cursed creature deals a bonus +3 Piercing Damage on top of the curse's effects.
Curse: Each time you make a successful attack, you suffer 2 points of Piercing Damage.
Proficiency with a Handaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
