This mantle was worn by the infamous and foul Hunter of the Salamander Syndicate. This rugged garment is made of black silk interwoven with countless black feathers. The cloak is also adorned with various bones, teeth, fangs and claws and is attached to a gruesome skull of a wyvern or a younger dragon. While wearing it, you gain the following benefits:
- Your gain + 1 to your AC.
- You have resistance to poison damage.
- Your walking speed is increased by 10 feet.
The cloak is filled with the obscure and mystical dark energy of its past owner. Focusing on the remnants of this power the wearer can conjure up the following effects.
- You can spend a charge and use your action to cast Hunters Mark or Speak with Animals as a level on spell on the target.
- When you target a creature with an attack or a spell you can spend a charge of the mantle to make it a Disheartening Strike. If the attack or spell successfully hits the target, you fill the them with unsettling dread: the target has disadvantage on the next saving throw it makes before the end of your next turn. The creature ignores this effect if it's immune to the frightened condition.
The mantle has 2 charges and it regains expended charges daily at dusk.
Notes: Resistance: Poison, Bonus: Speed (Walking), Bonus: Armor Class, Requires attunement from a non-good aligned creature, Control, Buff, Movement, Warding, Outerwear
