A lasso made of tightly wound leather straps. You can use the cord to make a melee attack against a beast or monstrosity. The attack is treated as if the weapon has finesse and reach (15 ft.). The attack deals no damage but if the attack is a hit, the cord becomes wrapped around the creature, usually around the neck. Once the cord is drawn tight around a beast or monstrosity, the ranger can cast Dominate Monster on the creature. The cord can only cast Dominate Monster once per day.
