Found in a cave near the remains of an ancient battle between giants and other mortals, a diminutive skeleton in decayed and dented armor clutches a bluish-gray warhammer that almost resembles a maul, lying across its lap. Propped against a stalagmite, the skeleton's empty sockets are still trained on the entrance to the cave, its fleshless visage waiting with grim determination for a foe that is no more. The remains of a giant's hand are scattered along the floor of the cave, reaching towards the smaller skeleton. Every bone of the giant's withered hand is shattered as if struck by vengeful lightning.
You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. This versatile weapon grows or shrinks to fit its wielder. When gripped with two hands, the hammer grows into a maul, upgrading the damage to 1d12, instead of the usual 1d10 for the versatile trait. A melee attack with this weapon deals an additional 1d4 of lightning damage. If this weapon is thrown, it will return to the wielder. This weapon seems to loathe giants, granting advantage on all attacks made against any giants.
Proficiency with a Warhammer allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
