Armor (plate), artifact (requires attunement by a n artificer, whilst attuned you have proficiency with it.)

During his travels, Zao found some ancient tech. Over time, he bought more parts and materials, expanding his knowledge and eventually fixing up the exoskeleton.

This gear gives a disadvantage to stealth, but the wearer can not become encumbered whilst wearing the exoskeleton.

Whilst equipped and attunes, it feels as though it weighs nothing.

 

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
