An ancient armor that has in the latest years been commonly used by many different blood hunters, though anyone with proficiency in medium armor can use it. As a bonus action, it allows you to spend a small part of your life force (1d6) to mark an opponent, for the next 10 minutes, every time this creature attacks you, you can use your reaction to make the creature take 1/4 of the damage they inflicted on you (rounded down to a minimum of one), as a necrotic damage type. This feature can only be activated on one creature at a time, if used on two creatures, the effect will immediately fade on the first creature you targeted with this feature

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
