Attacks made with the Yínzhīdāo receive a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls. Additionally those attuned to the blade may deal an additional 2d6 psychic damage on success. As a bonus action, those attuned to the Yínzhīdāo can cause it to wail louder, and chooses one opponent hit by the Yínzhīdāo since the end of their last turn, and chooses one of the effects to inflict.
- The target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 18). If they fail, they take 5d6 psychic damage.
- The target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 18). If they fail, they are deafened for one minute.
- The target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 18). If they fail, they are paralyzed until the end of your next turn. The target becomes immune to this effect for three rounds.
If the target makes the save, they are immune to the effects of the Yínzhīdāo for the amount of rounds equal to the amount by which they made their save.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
