This item resembles the mundane tool used to scrape dirt, perspiration, and oil off the body prior to a bath.  However instead of scraping off filth, it scrapes off injuries and wounds. 

Three times a day, the strigil may be used to scrape off 5 hit points of wounds.  Charges may be restored once per day, by cleansing it in running or falling water, such as in a river, waterfall, or fountain.  Simply pouring water over the strigil will not restore used charges.
