The Wind Thief:  The being known as The Wind Thief was only a child when he picked up this blade. At the time it was a simple mundane weapon of no importance. A Rampaging air elemental was wreaking havoc in his town and the boy was forced to defend himself. It is unknown how to this day. But as the boy wildly swung the sword in a feral flight or fight response, the mundane mortal steal bit into the creature as if it were flesh and blood. The Elemental in its rage nearly slaughtered the boy but the blade was stuck in its body like a nail stuck in wood. And as the Tyrant of air was about to deal the finishing blow it was slowly sucked into the steal of the blade. Some speculate it was a wondering fey taking pity on the boy that caused this, others say it was the gods. But both the boy and the blade were never the same again. The sword always cold to the touch now absorbed wind around it like a black hole. No breeze was allowed to pass by it. Because of this seemingly simple quirk of a strange yet simple blade. The wind its self enraged. Now any being that dare wield this weapon are cursed to suffer the winds wrath.
