Weapon (longsword), artifact (requires attunement by a character that has Arcana & Martial Weapons proficiency.)

A blade forged from a long lost civilization that was known to be well versed in the magical arts. This blade was said to seamlessly cut anything even the fabric of space itself.

You take 1 hour to attune to the weapon, inspecting it and understanding how to properly use its arcane application.

While attuned to this weapon you gain these features--

  • Your melee weapon attacks with this weapon ignores slashing resistance and immunities
  • You can cast the Gate spell by slashing the space in front of you. You have 2 uses and regain 1 use every dawn.
  • You can forgo your normal attack action to slash the space your target occupies within 30ft of you, dealing 2d10 Force damage. If you have the Extra Attack feature you can use this attack with all of your attacks.

 

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
