With the help of Vajra Safahr the preserved center eye of the Beholder Xanathar was put to good use for the town of Waterdeep. After his defeat at the hands of some intrepid adventurers Xanathars Eye was implanted into the lens of a bull's-eye lantern. The lantern sheds bright light for 60ft and dim light for an additional 60ft. Also while open the eye creates an antimagic cone within the first 60ft of light shed. This effect can be used for a total of 10 minutes per day with the effect renewing at dawn. When the hood for the lantern is closed the 10 minute timer is paused until the hood is opened again. After the 10 minutes is up it can still be used as a normal lantern.
