The Brutal Pick is one of the four tools that were given to the dwarves by Moradin himself.

It is the only tool that is not directly tied to the process of smithing but for the process of mining and excavation.

While using this Pick you gain a burrowing speed of 20 feet. You can also burrow through solid rock at half of your burrowing speed and leave a 5 foot-wide, 6-foot high tunnel in your wake.

While mining there is a chance to find gems. The DM can have you roll a d100. Consult the following table. Use the tables given in the dungeon masters guide to randomly determine the kind of gemstone found.
