Weapon (longsword), uncommon (requires attunement)

The precision and efficiency shown while fending off an overwhelming number of Yuan-Ti impressed Gond and inspired this recipe. The sword has a unique form, that makes it easier to kill Yuan-Ti or other snake-based creatures. Additionally the blade can store poison inside the many engravings it has and release it whenever the wielder wants it to.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

You have advantage on all attacks against snake-like creatures.

You can apply any poison on the blade to store it and release it whenever you hit a creature, but after it was used once, new poison has to be applied. If there is no poison on the blade, you can use an reaction to negate the poison damage of one attack, filling the sword with the poison that was meant to hurt you.

Once a day you can cut someone, who suffers from the poisoned condition to stop the effect and absorb it into the blade.

If wielded by Evelyn Lyvanders it has the same effect as an vorpal sword when attacking a Yuan-ti Pureblood.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
