This splint mail is barely held together, the previous owner must have met a gruesome end.  This armor will hopefully hold up for a few fights before needing repair.  On a critical hit this armor will fall apart.  It then is unusable until repaired.

This armor is made of narrow vertical strips of metal riveted to a backing of leather that is worn over cloth padding. Flexible chain mail protects the joints.
