Wondrous Item, artifact

This steel forged amulet is circular in shape and solid metal. On the face of the amulet is the cat of nine tails symbol. The razors attached to the strips of leather protrude from the flat base of the necklace and are sharp to the touch. The wearer must be a cleric of Lovitar to activate the following benefits.

-For suffering in the name of Lovitar, the wearer is rewarded with power. Damage taken since a long rest or since the last time activating this buff can be used to recover a spent spell slot depending on the total damage taken. It does not matter if the individual has healed in that time or if they are at full health, so long as the damage was taken since the last long rest or use of this amulet to recover a spell slot. 20 damage: level 1 spell slot. 40 damage: level 2 spell slot; increasing the spell slot for every 20 damage taken.

-Once a long rest the wearer may slide their hand against the barbs of the amulet, drawing their own blood and taking 1d8 damage, to double the amount of healing from a spell they cast. If the spell heals multiple individuals the effect only impacts one individual of the clerics choice. The doubled healing has no impact upon the caster of the spell.
