Ring, very rare (requires attunement)

This simple silver ring looks bland at first sight, but when attuned it changes its appearance to reflect the damage that is absorbed.

When an attack deals damage to the bearer of Wrath, they can as a reaction choose to absorb the damage into Wrath instead. The amount of damage that can be absorbed equals to twice the character level. As an action, the bearer of Wrath can release the damage absorbed in one of the ways listed below. The first damage type absorbed by Wrath defines the appearance of Wrath and the type of damage released.

Precision Rage - The damage is released in an arc towards a single target. Make a ranged spell attack against a target within 60 feet.

Fury Unleashed - The damage is released as a blast in a 20-feet radius around the bearer. All creatures within the radius has to make a DC15 Dexterity saving throw. If succeeding, the creature takes half damage.

If Wrath has absorbed damage during the day that hasn't been released when a long rest is started, the damage is released spontaneously dealing 1d6 psychic damage per two spellcasting levels to the bearer.
