This wooden shield made from a hunk of Treant bark can be wielded as a magic shield that grants a standard +2 bonus to armor class. While holding it, you have a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls and spell save DC.
The shield also has 10 charges for the following properties. It regains 1d6 + 2 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the shield loses its properties and becomes a nonmagical shield.
Spells. You can use an action to expend 1 or more of the shield's charges to cast one of the following spells from it, using your spell save DC: enhance ability (3 charges), greater restoration (6 charges), shield (3 charge), speak with animals (1 charge), speak with plants (2 charges), or fly (4 charges).
Once a day you may also cast goodberry without expending any charges. The shield can't be used this way again until the next dawn.
Willow Form. You can use an action to plant the bottom of the shield in fertile earth and expend 1 charge to transform the shield into a healthy weeping willow tree. The tree is 50 feet tall and has a 5-foot-diameter trunk, and its branches at the top spread out in a 30-foot radius before touching the ground and acting like the alarm spell. The branches also have 4 goodberry clusters growing off of them of which regrow 1d4 clusters every dawn. The tree appears ordinary but radiates a faint aura of transmutation magic if targeted by detect magic. While touching the tree and using another action to speak its command word, you return the shield to its normal form. Any creature in the tree falls when it reverts to a shield.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Bonus: Spell Attacks, Bonus: Spell Save DC, Druid
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
Notes: Requires Attunement by a Druid
