You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
This magical bow is infused with natural magics as a gift from a thankful forest spirit. It has a rough-hewn oaken wood body twined with delicate thorn vines, with a gold bow string that glows when an arrow is nocked.
This weapon has 3 charges. When you attack a creature with this weapon, you can expend a charge to cause your arrow to be imbued with nature's magic. The arrow becomes entwined with thorny vines, and on a hit, the target takes 2d6 poison damage in addition to the weapon's normal damage. Additionally, the target must make a DC 14 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the target is Restrained by thorny vines that explode forth from the arrow on impact. On a successful save, the target breaks free from the grasp of the vines. The target may repeat the Strength saving throw at the end of each of their turns until they succeed, ending the effect.
The bow's vines are dotted with a number of delicate white flower blossoms, equal to the number of charges on the bow. When a charge is expended, one of the blossom withers and falls from the bow. The weapon regains 1d3 of its charges after each dawn.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
