Zunari Gusko is a type of heavy plate armor worn by heavy assault infantry within the Imperial Army of Ashihara. The plate is armor is specially hardened and is tested to withstand against shot from Tanegashima. The armor is effectively bullet proof, though it is incredibly heavy. A thick Hagama should be worn underneath as a base for the armor and to help protect against blunt blows to the armor and providing for padding.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
