This black-powder based grappling hook launcher contains a small arcane battery and winding gizmo. By spending a Bonus Action a creature may target a location or creature within 30-feet. If the creature firing the Grap-o-matic is Small or Tiny it is rapidly moved to the target destination. If the creature is Medium or larger it automatically fails, damaging the device.

If a creature is targeted by the Grap-o-matic it can make a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw to avoid the grappling hook, on a success the Grap-o-matic is retracted with no movement happening. If the creature fails the save then the Grap-o-matic works as normal and the target creature is Grappled.

The device must be reloaded using an Action after each use and reloading it requires black powder.

Tinkertop has done it again, by combining a black powder weapon design with the trusty grappling hook, gnomes and halflings everywhere can now reach not just the top-shelf but maybe even the top-floor!
