This prototype arm guard + gauntlet combo were initially invented to help rescue team workers more efficiently save people from hazardous situations. This version is imperfect and the magic is fairly limited. The wearer can expend a charge to interlink the mitts, hold a steady stance and speak the command phrase “Remain Calm” to let out a powerful blast of force from the right mitt's palm. The blast emits in a 10 foot wide cone at the maximum distance (10 feet) and will launch willing creatures (or unwilling creatures that fail a dc20 strength check) 50 feet. The wave of force will wrap around any creatures it hits and protect them from taking any damage from their fall. The gauntlets have 3 charges and regains expended charges after each short rest. 

“The glove and arm guard are made of a matching, sturdy, light brown leather. The right mitt covers the entire arm and is fitted via a strap. Its palm glows faintly and has a track on the inner bicep that emits a similar blue-ish light. The left mitt covers just the hand and has a counterpart track that can be locked into the right mitt's bicep for support.”
