These throwing cards can be enchanted by a bard to contain a spell. The spell will release upon hitting the target the card was thrown at.
Upon missing the target the spell will also release. If the spell needs a target to function it will fade upon missing.
Per long rest the bard can enchant up to three spell levels worth of spells on his/her cards.
Thus, a throwing card can only contain one spell of maximum spell level 3 at a time.
After a long rest the enchantment automatically fades and the formerly enchanted card returns to being a regular throwing card.
Proficiency with a Shortbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
