Staff (quarterstaff), unknown rarity (requires attunement)

While you are holding the staff, you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your spells.

The staff collects and stores potential energy by being moved around by its wielder. For each full-day where it has been carried or used un a mundane capacity, or after being used to make at least one melee attack, the staff gains one charge (to a maximum of 6).

While the staff is charged, as part of the attack action, on your turn, you can expend a charge to deal an additional 1d4 force damage to a target of the triggering attack. You must choose to expend the charge prior to making the attack.

Alternatively, when used as a spell focus for the Magic Missile spell, you can increase the damage dealt by a single missile by one step (d4’s to d6’s) by expending one charge per missile you wish to increase.

Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.

Notes: Versatile, Topple
