This shield was originally made for the druids of Gauntlgrym but was specially modified for the hero Zaebark. Commissioned by the King Bruenor for the hero Zaebark as a reward for his role in slaying Venonfang. Made for the druids of the city it has the ability to let druids cast conjure animals at 5th level. The shields bands were made from Zaebark's Ring of Warmth, granting the wielder cold resistance. It is engraved with Venomfang's scales, shaped to look like the skull of a dragon and acting as a druid focus. However the apprentices charged with sculpting the dragon skull were not very skilled and it ended up looking more like a duck than dragon skull. Now whomever wields this shield also will see their legs turn into duck legs granting them swim speed and water will roll off of them.

 

While holding this shield, you have a +1 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC.

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
