Weapon (scimitar), artifact (requires attunement by a praying to the goddess of the sun, Solarus, for half an hour. Upon attunement, the ruby in the pommel will glow faintly and then grow dull. Requires paladin or cleric of Solarus.)

This scimitar is Matte black with grey symbols along the blade and pale green symbols along the hilt. A single brilliant ruby resides in the pommel, when it catches the light it almost resembles the shimmering of the sun. These symbols give off bright light up to 10 feet away and dim light an additional 10 feet. You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls with this magic weapon. When you take the Attack action with this weapon, you may use a bonus action to cast a 2nd level spell or lower that normally requires an action.

Awoken Tiernan

As a bonus action, the wielder may unleash the divine energy within themselves, causing their eyes to glimmer and two golden, luminous, incorporeal wings to sprout from their back. This transformation lasts for 1 minute and gives the wielder a flying speed of 30ft. Dismissing these wings is a bonus action. This trait cannot be used again until dawn of the next day.

 

Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
