The Spear of Darkness is part of a three piece set. Alone the Spear of Darkness is a +1 Spear that when used has a slight black wisp around the head of the spear. With a successful hit the Spear of Darkness also does 1D4 Necrotic. These bonuses grow to +2/+3 and 2D4/3D4 for each additional item that you are attuned to.
Proficiency with a Spear allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
