These salamander leather straps seem to shift in colour similar to flames and are warm to the touch when held.

When wrapped around one's fists or onto the handle of a weapon you deal an additional 1d4+4 damage on each of your attacks.

These wraps can only confer these properties to a weapon once, dissolving into a puff of soot and smoke if they are used to attempt to be wrapped around another weapon. When these wraps are applied to one's fists, their properties only can be applied when taking an unarmed attack.  A weapon can only ever gain one set of properties from a set of wraps of elemental infusion. If however, an attempt to confer another set of properties from a different set of wraps, the conferring of properties fails and the wraps used lose their magic and burst in a way appropriate to their element.
