The Wicches have been beset by persecution throughout their history, Witch-hunts, Inquisitions and peasant uprisings have all sought to destroy what they don't understand. And it is no wonder then that they have found means of defending themselves, disguising themselves, and identifying friend from foe. The Wicches' Mark is one of the oldest ways in which they did so, it is a tattoo produced by a special needle, appearing on the body as a small series of concentric runic inscriptions overlaid by a pentagram that seems to shift as though it were smoke under the skin. Its form can alter at will, and while always appearing as a tattoo and reverting back to it's original design at sunset, it can shift depending on the needs of the person.
For some Wicches the way to remain hidden was to channel their magics into a mark that made them into the very shadows in which they hid. For Other Wicches they channel their magics into a mark that seeded fear into the minds of their would be persecutors. This mark however channels magic a Wicche's magic to a different end, to prevent hostilities.
Disguising your mark. As a bonus action, you can shape the tattoo into any colour or pattern and move it to any area of your skin. Whatever form it takes, it is always obviously a tattoo. It can range in size from no smaller than a copper piece to an intricate work of art that covers all your skin. The Tattoo always reverts back to it's original form at dusk, and can be reshaped at the end of a long rest.
A gesture of peace. As an action touch any beast or humanoid within melee range that has dealt you damage expending one use of this tattoo, this creature is no longer hostile to you and becomes charmed by you for up to 10 minutes.
If the creature is harmed by you after it is charmed, the creature reverts back to being hostile towards you.
A Peaceful Nights Rest. When attuned to this tattoo you can expend one use before taking a long or short rest to gain a number of temporary Hit Points equal to 1d8 + your constitution modifier after the rest ends.
