Weapon (dagger), rare (requires attunement)

This knife lets you toast the bread as you slice it!

If for some reason you were to stab a creature with it, you deal an additional 2d8 fire damage to the creature and instantly cauterise the wound when your withdraw the knife. Or, you can leave the knife shoved into the creature and use you bonus action on subsequent turns to cause this damage again. If a creature has the knife stuck in them and takes the damage from it, the creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or remove the knife. If it doesn't remove the knife, it has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks until the start of your next turn.

But why would stab someone when you could just make toast?

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: Damage: Fire, Bonus: Magic, Finesse, Light, Thrown, Nick
