Weapon (pistol, automatic), very rare

A small, wrist-mounted, double-barrelled pistol manufactured by Joe Rodriguez that combines the firepower of a UAC Pistol, with the practicality of a wrist bow. This weapon serves as a light glove weapon and may use regular bullets as well as alchemic bullets and steel pebbles for ammunition.

An artificer may customize or improve the weapon once every three levels. This may be adding another barrel, more reload capacity, different ammunition, etc.

At level 10, the wearer may take it off and throw it as a detonatable weapon, which causes similar effects to a small concussive explosion, causing anybody in a 5-foot radius 1d4 of force damage, pushing them  5 feet away from the object.

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.

Notes: Damage: Piercing, Creation, Combat, Wristwear, Artificer, Range, Ammunition (Firearms), Reload
