The object resembles a seemingly normal, black bowler hat with a white band and a mechanical silver broach shaped like an eye affixed to the brim. A tag on the inside of the hat labels the item as "Yakupoh's Hat of Dramatic Exit".

This item has 3 charges which it regains at the end of a long rest.

As a bonus action a wearer that is attuned to this item can speak the command phrase "My hat off to you" and spend a charge. Roll 1d20. On a roll of 3 or higher the user vanishes inside the hat and is teleported to any other hat within 30 ft of the wearer that they are aware of. 

Afterwards this items magical effect as well as the eye shaped broach transfer to the new hat. The user emerges from this new hat, already wearing it and attuned to it.

On a roll of 2 or lower the wearer becomes trapped inside the hat for 1 minute. While trapped in this way, the wearer is treated as if under the effects of the banishment spell.
