Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement by a Klare Xieonn, or an at least level 11 sorcerer with proficiency in alchemist's supplies)
Klare Xieonn has spent many years honing her skills in alchemy, artifice, and arcana to construct this device, the XAA (Xieonn's Alchemical Apparatus), capable of producing multiple different alchemical brews in mere seconds. The device takes the form of a bracelet that, when activated by a tap or a shake, can summon a ghostly hand which laces your own. The device can be activated or deactivated as an action, making the hand appear or disappear. While active, this device has the following properties:
- This device can be used as a spellcasting focus.
- You have embraced the chaos inherent in the haste of alchemy during battle. As an action, you may make a ranged spell attack against a target. On a hit, the target must roll on the Variant Wild Magic Surge Table. Alternatively, you can consume the brew yourself or give it to an ally.
- You have perfected the art of creating and harnessing the elements for a short period of time. As an action, pick one elemental type: Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, or Poison. You create a small orb of the element in your hand and hurl it at a target within 60ft. Based on the chosen element, your spectral gauntlet for your turn becomes tinged copper, silver, gold, bronze, or emerald respectively. You may then make a ranged spell attack, or instead cause the target to make a Constitution saving throw.Based on the chosen element, the following effects occur:
- Acid: On a hit, the target takes 3d8 acid damage, and it has its movement speed reduced to half for its next turn.
- Cold: On a hit, the target takes 3d8 cold damage, and it has disadvantage on the next weapon attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.
- Fire: On a hit, the target takes 3d10 fire damage.
- Lightning: You have advantage on the attack roll if the target is wearing armor made of metal. On a hit, the target takes3d8 lightning damage, and it can't take reactions until the start of its next turn.
- Poison: On a hit, the target takes 2d6 poison damage, and it takes 2d6 poison damage at the end of its next turn.
- Acid: On a hit, the target takes 3d8 acid damage, and it has its movement speed reduced to half for its next turn.
