A sharp magical longsword featuring a green tassel. (Can be any longsword, but in the authors setting it is a katana like weapon).
This weapon counts as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistances.
The blade has a certain amount of charges based on rarity and the dms call, these charges recharge on a short rest. The charges are spent in order to activate any of the following effects, at the beginning of the wielders turn they must determine if they wish to expend another charge to maintain the effect or end it.
Activating the sword requires speaking its command word, but is dependent on what form is activated. If the blade is already in a form it can swap to another form by meeting its conditions at no additional charge cost. Durations for effects that casts spells are based around consuming a charge at the beginning of a turn, as soon as the charges run out or the form is swapped the effect ends. The blade may only swap forms once per turn.
The spell save DC is equal to a character spell casting modifier, if a character is not a spell caster it will use their preferred attack modifier + 8 + proficiency (Dm note just rebalance around who's gonna have it)
Grasscutter - Can be activated as a bonus action, wind begins to flow around the blade as a miniature hurricane, this weapon becomes gain an additional 5ft of reach, and when attacking an enemy that is within the weapons base range (5 ft for a long sword) it rolls twice the weapons damage dice.
