Weapon (glaive), artifact (requires attunement by a Creature that Worships a God of the Sea)

This dark metal glaive is a gift for Surge from Thassa herself, left waiting for him in the seabed outside his home as a reward for his dedication to the sea, and a reminder that his loyalty (although expected) is also rewarded. This magical glaive is a +1 weapon, has the Versatile property and also functions as a Weapon of Warning and Decanter of Endless Water (although it only produces sea water).

Dormant Sea God’s Scorn: You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. If you score a critical hit with it, the target must make a Constitution (Your Spell Save DC) saving throw or take extra necrotic damage equal to a quarter of its hit point maximum. It takes half of that damage on a success, and double if it critically fails the saving throw.

Turbulent Geyser: As an action you summon a blast of water from your palm that hits a single creature. Make a ranged attack that deals 1d8 magical bludgeoning damage + your Charisma modifier. It has a range of 120ft.

Thassa’s Favoured: Having earned Thassa’s favour, your Strength score and maximum increases by +2.

Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Advantage: Initiative, Weapon Property: Versatile, Ranged Weapon Attack: Bludgeoning, Bonus: Strength Score, Creature that Worships a God of the Sea, Damage, Buff, Utility, Combat, Heavy, Reach, Two-Handed, Graze
